It was just over a week ago that I attended the Zoom call listening party for the release of Marcus Fjellström’s The Last Sunset of the Year album. I ordered the vinyl at that time, and I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived yesterday! I didn’t expect it to get here that fast. I made the comment then, and I still stand by it, that I haven’t felt so many emotions while listening to music since I saw Sigur Ros live. If you’ve seen Sigur Ros live, you know what I’m talkin’ about.
This was also one of the most intense ‘fandom’ experiences I’ve had as well. Listening to that music with all those other Terror fans AND Dave Kajganich was really special. The Terror fandom is small but mighty!
I’m so happy to have this album, I had to take some pictures to share. Can you believe I don’t even have a turntable? 😄 Guess it’s time to look into getting one!
