Ever since I saw this scene in TWD: Daryl Dixon I wondered where this place is. I’d love to add it to the itinerary for my some-day trip to Paris. This weekend my search was over, and I finally found it!
In the 8th arrondissement in Paris, France is a beautiful 19th-century mansion called Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild. This was Quinn’s Mansion in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 1. While it has ‘hotel’ in its title, it’s not an actual hotel that accommodates visitors, but a ‘Hôtel particulier’, which in French just means a free-standing, grand mansion. As much as I’d LOVE to spend a night there, looks like that’s not in the cards. It does host events like fashion shows and weddings and also functions as a filming location.
I was happy to find it has an Instagram account that has many beautiful pictures. It appears that it’s been closed since 2023 for remodeling though. The account hasn’t been updated in a while. The good news is that you can take a tour through Quinn’s place without leaving your own by going to their website and clicking on ‘Spaces’ and then scrolling down to the ‘Virtual Visit’ section. If you’re a Quinn-lover like me, you’ll find several familiar sights there!
