TWD: Daryl Dixon

Quinn

“After all, Abraham sacrificed his only son, but Isaac was saved, and in the end Abraham was redeemed. I believe in redemption.”

Ah Quinn! Our very favorite club owner and black marketeer! Quinn operates The Demimonde, which is probably the very last nightclub on earth following the zombie apocalypse. The first look we get of Quinn is at the very beginning of the walker rampage. He attempts to escape Paris with Isabelle and her sister Lily, however Isabelle steals his car and leaves him behind. Ever the survivor, Quinn is still going strong twelve years later when Isabelle, Lily’s son Laurent and Daryl Dixon appear at his club in Paris. Should he help them or not?

Promotional pics of Quinn in the last episode of TWD from AMC
Quinn and Daryl fight zombies in Madame Genet's arena. They succeed but Quinn is bitten. He sacrfices himself to allow Isabelle and Laurent to get to freedom.
Quinn tries to win Isabelle back. Anna discovers them and storms off in jealousy, only to betray Quinn to Madame Genet later. Quinn is thrown in prison with Daryl.
Quinn attempts to ‘kidnap’ Laurent and makes a deal with Genet. Daryl manages to bring Laurent back to Isabelle but she reluctantly decides to stay with Quinn to allow Daryl and Laurent to escape to safety.
Quinn is surprised to see Isabelle turn up at The Demimonde. She also tells him that Laurent is Lily’s son. Quinn, in turn, surprises Isabelle by informing her Laurent is also HIS son.
Here's our first look at gorgeous Quinn! Quinn first appears in Episode 2. He escapes with Isabelle and her sister Lily from Paris when the zombie outbreak begins. Isabelle steals his car and leaves him behind to his own devices. This obviously isn’t the last time we’ll see him. He turns out to be a very resourceful man.
What is it with Quinn and Sundays? I'm always talking about him on a Sunday. Maybe it's because that's when TWD used to come on and we'd get to see him, or maybe it's because Sundays are hard, and I need something comforting to get my mind off the upcoming work week.
This is a rabbit hole. What’s a rabbit hole? It’s a distraction that leads to other distractions that lead to more distractions, and sometimes you get a really good result out of all the distractions, or at least learn something new! In the case of this fandom, I’ve found that Adam plays some very fascinating characters that have led me down a few excellent rabbit holes. That being so, this is the first of several ‘rabbit hole’ posts. Quinn has inspired me a lot, so I’ll stick with him for a while.
